Just look at the officer university program, it's really big. And someone who exit the army to go work in civil gets more job offer then someone who just made ordinary university sometimes. For somes jobs, the army repays or pays your education program (on conditions of course but still...)(I'm a bit tired that "soldier is a guy with a gun"...is much more then just that =____=;; )
Secondly, I'm all for the tax cuts and benefits going to the people who need the jobs and the money - something which I don't think includes the massive corporations or banks, which seem to be doing better than the rest of us even when they have hard times. Like I'd said, I'm economically socialist! You are economically socialist ? But you still want to vote conservative ? I don't get it because conservatives prooved they were economically capitalist here. All big cooporations and companies get tax free almost but normal families get higher taxs...That's not socialist for me.

Tough, with survey and talking with some people of this province, it's not really sure that Alberta will vote conservative this time. Some are really tired of the bad reputation they're getting because of Harper.Ouch XDand well Ina said everything I was thinking and much more XD

But there's something I want to clarify - I have said numerous times why I'm likely to vote Conservative in spite of my views on the economy and whatnot: their views on the so-called "moral" issues. There are some issues that the Conservative Party has a unique stance on that I absolutely agree with and cannot compromise on. So, what I'm about to do now...I know I'm taking a risk here, but I'm doing it anyway:
If you guys really want to know the honest truth from me, the one thing that's binding me to my party loyalty, then fine. Ask, and I'll tell you - but please understand that I am doing this because I think it's the only thing I can do to make my point clear as to why I could be agreeing with you all on everything you're saying and yet STILL want to vote Conservative. Ina-chan, I've mentioned it explicitly to you once before, and so far, you are the ONLY person I've ever brought this up with who was even willing to be CIVIL with me about it. Everyone else has tried to shoot me down over it, and I won't hold it against any of you if that were to happen again.
And I'm sorry if I'm coming across as snappish or rude - right now, I'm feeling really pushed into a corner here.

(Even if I'm planning to return studying, the most important will be more after in my opinion.)And I like NPD idea about putting a ceiling on credit cards interests (hey...mine is 19,99% interest and it's my first credit card) and tax cut to business who hire people. A tax cut about 4500$ for every people hired. This will advantage more smalls business that runs about 80% of our ecomony. And they have plans for families, elders, students...They have more plans then any others parties. Also Harper still wants to abolish the law about firearms...ugghh...One more (important) note; NPD's ads are the best XD;; A cute hamster and dogs barking, it really catches attention.

Hmmm... I have to disagree with you on that. The NDP is actually parroting what the Liberals plan to do. In fact, the main reason why the NDP is losing ground right now is that they're not offering anything different from the Liberals. That's one of the major criticisms the media asked Jack Layton in yesterday morning's campaign speech... how are the NDP's platform different from the Liberals... and Jack wasn't able to give a good answer. Probably one of the reasons why one of his MP candidates defected to the Liberal side too.
