The long census that will never go away... a mistake that the Tories won't admit is probably now going to be the cause of their downfall. Is it obvious that I am laughing inside? Ha-ha-ha! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! With the possibility of the Tory minority government falling after the budget confidence vote coming up. NDP already said they won't support it... The Bloc and the Grits both say: maybe, let's take a look at it first... the Tories just gave the opposition a gift in the mouth.
By saying what they said about Ontario and Quebec's request... it is so frickin' obvious that this government has lost its ability to listen to the voice of the people. Ontario and Quebec have the 1st and 2nd largest population in Canada. That data is not just essential for our policy making... it's VITAL! Ontario and Quebec's population combine makes up around 62% of Canada's total population. That's why if Quebec and Ontario actually agree on something and they're motivated to work together on that something... they're scary unstoppable. Quebec's tendency is to lean more toward Middle (with the Liberals) than the Right (with the Conservatives). Heck Quebec is actually more liberal than Ontario when it comes to politics... The Tories' only saving grace is the presence of the Bloc Quebecois who splits the votes prevents Ontario and Quebec from execising their full power.
Now if only the opposition would have the balls to work together and bring down the Harper dictatorship! >_<.
